Greetings in advance.

I have had sporadic service from the RCV site for awhile, sometimes I hear traffic, most times I don't.

Now it is 100% dead carrier.

The other repeaters in my area (STL and GFL) work perfectly.

I really depend on RCV because I can reach it when mobile on my HT.

Normally, my QTH setup is my Yagi on a tripod in my garage aimed at RCV, and a mobile on a power supply. Now that I am only receiving dead carrier, I have to switch to STL to participate in the NETS, which is my behind my Yagi.

Good Afternoon from FN66QE! There is a small number of operators here in the Fredericton area who are interested in the 23cm band. We are intending to do some experimenting here locally, just to get started and would invite others with gear to do the same. Are there other IRG members or "radio monitoring enthusiasts" that have gear for that band? I would love to hear from you!. We are just in the plan and test mode. More information will be available as we progress here.

I believe I contacted IRG about a year or so ago asking if you have any AREDN nodes in my area? VE9RCV is my local repeater, My Grid is FN57ti.

I love the concept of IRG, and to me it would just seem obvious that every IRG repeater should also be an AREDN node.

Please advise.

I love all the new changes to the system, and I'm wondering if there are plans to update the system map.

I expect to be able to join more nets when I retire (in a month), including the weather net. My question is: what are people using for a weather station? My old station got damaged by racoons, so I will be looking for something new and much more modern and feature rich. I have found very little locally so may need to search online. I'd like something with a color display, an anemometer, rain guage, humidity, wind chill, temp etc. A wifi connected one might be preferable. I have not had a lot of success finding anything near what I want locally. Suggestions?

IRG will be adding CTCSS (PL Tones) to repeaters in the future.  This forum is for help and discussion on how to program radios.  Any questions?  Maybe someone can help you on how to do it.

Is there ANYONE in the Atlantic area that works on ham gear? I have a Yaesu FT 1000 MP with a slight transmit issue. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I an located in Cross Creek NB but can ship.I am getting rather despirate. Thanks Oh and BTW my emal has changed to ve9boo@hotai.com

This new YSF (Yaesu System Fusion) repeater is located on Cooper Hill in Cooper, Maine (Same location as the more well known 147.330+ FM analog repeater).  It should give pretty good coverage throughout most of Charlotte County.  It is hard connected to Wires-X room #62148 (UFB New England).

Here are the results of the vote  for IRG as our NB representative.
